What's Included
Refurbished OEM BMW NBT EVO Head Unit
All NBT EVO units sold by Remote Bimmer are 4GB RAM versions. All parts are refurbished unless specifically noted otherwise.
 
Pre-Installed Wi-Fi Antenna
The Wi-Fi antenna required for wireless Apple CarPlay comes pre-installed on the NBT EVO.
 
Full-Screen Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay is activated and configured for full-screen operation before shipment.
 
Radio Programmed to Your VIN
The NBT EVO radio is programmed specifically for your BMW before shipment. Navigation functionality and map data are included only when the applicable Option B configuration is selected.
 
CID / Display Cable When Required
If your specific retrofit requires a different display cable, the correct cable is included.
 
ENET Coding Cable Included
An ENET cable is included in case remote support or additional coding assistance is ever required.
 
Truly Plug and Play
Your NBT EVO is fully programmed and configured for your BMW before shipment, so no coding session is normally required after installation.

Choose Your Configuration
Option A: CarPlay Navigation Only
Choose Option A if you plan to use Apple CarPlay exclusively for navigation. With this configuration, the factory BMW navigation function is not retained.
 
Compatibility: Option A applies primarily to most BMWs produced before 2015. Your VIN is required so Remote Bimmer can confirm compatibility before the retrofit is prepared.
 
Important: CarPlay navigation does not integrate with the BMW Head-Up Display (HUD). Factory BMW navigation is also used by Speed Limit Information (SLI), so customers who want to retain these factory navigation-based features should choose Option B.
 
Option B: Factory BMW Navigation + CarPlay
Choose Option B if you want to retain factory BMW navigation in addition to full-screen Apple CarPlay. Option B uses an NBT EVO unit with the blue GPS port and allows you to use either BMW navigation or CarPlay for maps.
 
Option B also retains the factory navigation integration used with the BMW Head-Up Display (HUD) and Speed Limit Information (SLI), and includes the latest applicable BMW navigation map data.

Choose to keep your compatible factory screen or upgrade to one of the available OEM touchscreen options shown above.
 
iDrive Controller
You can keep your compatible factory controller or select the available NBT EVO controller option.
 
Compatibility
BMW configurations vary by model and factory equipment. Your VIN is required so we can verify the vehicle configuration and prepare the retrofit correctly.
